Our White Mountains Private Dog Training Lessons provide personalized, one-on-one coaching for you and your dog. Whether you're working on everyday obedience, leash manners, recall, puppy skills, or specific training challenges, private lessons allow us to focus on your dog, your lifestyle, and your goals.
Personalized Training for You & Your Dog
Dog training isn't one-size-fits-all. Every dog brings a different personality, history, learning style, and relationship with their owner.
Your private training program begins by getting to know both ends of the leash.
During your lessons, you and your trainer will discuss your dog's history, current behaviors, training experience, home environment, and the challenges you're experiencing. We'll evaluate your current communication and relationship with your dog and develop a personalized training plan designed around the goals that matter most to you.
Depending on your dog's needs, private lessons may focus on:

Private lessons aren't about handing your dog to a trainer and watching from the sidelines. You'll be an active part of the training process.
Our trainers will demonstrate techniques, explain the why behind what we're doing, and then coach you as you practice with your own dog. You'll leave each lesson with clear homework and training goals to work on before your next appointment.
This allows you to develop the skills and confidence to continue training outside of Elevate—because the most important training happens during everyday life with your dog.

Our Board & Train Program at Elevate Dog Center is designed to give high-spirited dogs an intensive training jump-start while building the obedience, communication, and everyday manners needed to become more enjoyable companions.

During this immersive residential dog training program, your dog stays with us at Elevate Dog Center for a minimum of four weeks and works consistently with our professional Tucson dog trainers.The extended training format gives us the opportunity to establish new behaviors, develop reliable obedience, and practice skills repeatedly in different situations and around appropriate distractions.

Professional Training Is Only the Beginning
A successful Board & Train program doesn't end when your dog comes home. You are an essential part of maintaining your dog's new skills. Throughout the program and after graduation, you'll receive private training lessons with our trainers. We'll teach you how your dog has been trained, how to communicate clearly, how to reinforce expectations, and how to continue practicing their new skills at home. With professional training providing the jump-start and continued owner involvement maintaining the results, you and your dog can begin enjoying more freedom, confidence, and adventures together.
Is Board & Train Right for My Dog?
Our Board & Train program is best suited for friendly, high-energy, exuberant dogs that need basic obedience, better leash manners, structure, and improved household or public manners. This program is generally not appropriate for dogs displaying aggression or significant behavioral concerns. Dogs with behavioral challenges may be considered on a case-by-case basis following an evaluation. Safety comes first, and our trainers will help determine whether Board & Train or another Elevate training program is the most appropriate option for your dog.
